Goodbye Pimples

Anywhere you go, it seems like people of all ages want to know the easiest way to get rid of pimples. Pimples can range from a single annoying spot that appears at the most inconvenient time to a more serious condition that spreads widely across your face. While there are so many different products on the market that claim to get rid of pimples, everyone has a different answer as for what works best. There are easy steps to follow to make sure that you don’t get breakouts too often.

The first step to get rid of pimples is to take a good look at your diet. Insufficiency of nutrients in your body can cause problems that might show up in your skin. See to it that you are eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Try also adding a multivitamin to your daily regimen. This will ensure that your body is getting the correct amount of nutrients it needs. See to it that you are drinking the right amount of water also. Physicians recommend 64 ounces or eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day. This only sounds like a lot but really, it’s not. You can divide it out through the whole day. If you drink enough water, your body is hydrated and it is easier for your blood to carry the nutrients and oxygen to your skin.

Once your diet is in check, the next step is taking a good look at your face washing routine. Many people think that scrubbing the breakouts with a rough cloth and hot water helps get rid of pimples. This is in fact the exact opposite of how you should react. Your breakouts will only worsen if you use rough cloths and scrubs. Hot water dries out your skin and forces your glands to produce more oil. This clogs the pores and results to more breakouts, again. To keep your face clean, use warm water and a mild soap when washing. Do this two to three times daily.

Do not jeopardize your efforts by using too much cosmetics. Be sure to check the labels of any moisturizers, sunscreens, or makeup you may apply to make sure they are labeled either noncomedogenic or nonacnegenic. These cosmetics are specially formulated without extra oils to clog your pores.

How about the products claiming they can get rid of pimples fast? There are even some that claim they work in a jiffy. Although you can’t expect to clear that breakout instantly, you can however look for specific ingredients that can help you get rid of that pimples safely and quickly. Many over the counter products have benzoyl peroxide. As a drying agent, its main purpose is to control the oil the skin is producing to prevent pimples from showing up. If you prefer to use a more natural method, some medications use tea tree oil, made from the leaves of the Tea Tree (a plant native to Australia). The antibacterial properties of tea tree oil can eliminate the bacteria.

While no product can get rid of pimples instantly, many are able to get rid of them quickly. When used in combination with proper face washing techniques and a healthy diet, over the counter products can certainly help. Making your own research is good. Just because a specific product claims to work fast doesn’t mean it actually will. Check the product first because you might get some red rash. It’s definitely not good at all. It’s just as bad as having an acne breakout.
