Organic Skin Care Products
By Joyce • Sep 4th, 2009 • Category: AcneThere are many different types of skin care product available. The most outlandish claims and made by manufacturers for their skin care products. How many are true? Allskin care products that we buy need to be of good standards.
Prehistoric times have their own version of skin care. Skincare products in history is not such a recent thing either. This is the same as the history of perfumes and cologne.
We use skin care products in order that we may take great care of our skin. We can regard these products as means of protection and control. Skin care products also will try and alleviate some of the effects of toxins that get into our skin through the pores.
History and skin care products
In order to protect their skin from the elements, farmers and fishermen have used their own skin care products throughout history.
The fisherman especially needs to take protection against freezing sea, wind, and rain, which will all take a toll on exposed skin. The weather also takes its toll on the farmer working in the fields. The farmer and the fisherman were unable to get their hands on bottles of moisturizing conditioner for their protection, so they have to rely on nature to provide.
Skin care the natural way
Both the farmer and the fisherman would have known exactly what to use, the fishermen might have used whale blubber, and the farmer, well you can use your imagination. You can’t beat an all natural skin care product.
I wonder how much truth is in any of the hype about the modern-day miracle skin care product, it’s very difficult to believe. Today’s skin care products are so full of chemicals that we have to ask ourselves are they doing us any good? Also the same be said of natural hair care products We are already being overloaded with toxins getting into our skins from the environment, wouldn’t we be better off using natural skin care products without chemicals?
Joyce is co-author of this site. My family and friends tell me all kinds of crazy stories that they hear from other people and read in the paper or find out about on-line that give incorrect facts on skin care. So how do you know what to believe?
Over the years while growing up as a teenager with acne and then during my adulthood having raising three children I have always been learning about our skin and finally was able to take the mystery, confusion and complexity out of skin care. My aim is to give you the answers that will allow you to have that flawless, younger looking skin you have always wanted.
