It’s frustrating, isn’t it?  All those medications, those creams, those detoxes and you just want to get off the medication treadmill and take control with a proactive acne treatment so you too can have a clear, flawless complexion..  Well, you’ve arrived at the right place.

There’s no question – acne is a profit spinner for big business and a cynic might even conclude that there’s no motivation in providing the consumer with a cure, as that just means no further sales.   There’s hardly motivation to provide a cure through proactive acne treatment, is there?

This is despite research having established the causes of acne.  You too, can access this research and then understand how you can deal with the problem and elimiate acne.

Your first step in your proactive acne treatment is to take charge of your treatment. Start by understanding the root causes of acne and then address each cause.

The reason topical creams, or antibiotics, or fasting regimes or diet don’t help is because they’re performed in isolation and they only address one of the causes in the acne equation.

The astonishing secret of proactive acne treatment is that when you address concurrently all the causes of acne, you will be acne free permanently.

The concurrent process requires firstly to understand all the causes of acne, and then to detoxify your system and habitualise changes in lifestyle and diet so that your body is in its natural balanced internal environment and then, enjoy clear, flawless complexion, permanently.

This is where you’ll start in your proactive acne treatment, by understanding the acne equation.

 The acne equation:

This is the layman’s version of acne equation:

Chronic, mild inflammation + high blood sugar levels = acne breakouts

Dr Loren Cordain’s paper on “implications for the role of diet in acne” informs us:

Swings in blood sugar levels cause acne by

1.     increasing sebum production

2.     causing skin cells to regenerate faster

3.     causing skin cells to stick together.

As you can see, it starts by eating the wrong types of food which triggers the production of insulin, then androgens, the male hormone, which causes the overproduction of sebum as well as a trigger which causes the faster regeneration of skin cells.

What occurs is dead skin cells are pushed through narrow skin pores in big lumps, instead of single cells, it’s like diverting heavy truck traffic through narrow village roads and of course, traffic jams are the result.   For your skin, this traffic jam means clogged skin pores.

This is how the wrong types of food cause acne.  High GI foods cause a spike in blood sugar levels.  This causes the pancreas to produce insulin to reduce the high levels of blood sugar. The trouble, is large amounts of insulin causes the blood sugar levels to suddenly fall.  The body thinks it’s an emergency and the adrenal glands kick in to produce the male hormone, androgen.   It is this male hormone, that causes the sebum production.

The essential secret, as you can see, is the clear understanding of the root cause of acne, so that in your proactive acne treatment, you can target each acne causing event, to achieve the clear skin you deserve.
